I recently stayed at Hotel Valle for a week while exploring the ancient city and the central train station. The location was fantastic, just a short 7-8 minute walk to both the Colosseum and Roma Termini. The room was comfortable with air conditioning, and the morning breakfast was delicious. Additionally, there were nearby Indian restaurants and the staff were kind and helpful.
